Our recent project – Multi system indoor unit installation at Leichhardt
Recently we had a call from a customer who asked to add another indoor unit to his multi system installed 5 years ago.
After visiting the site and checking the model number of the existing multi system Mitsubishi Heavy Industries brand we discovered that the indoor units for that model are no longer available on the market and were replaced with the new model which is not compatible with that outdoor.
It took a while but we were able to get the discontinued indoor unit from our friends who are also air conditioning specialists as they had one left in the far corner of their warehouse.
As you can see on the photos from that installation the indoor unit placed in between the chimney and the second bedroom wall to improve the air distribution.
The existing outdoor unit was installed on a wall bracket above the sideway so we had to run copper lines from the indoor unit all the way down the sideway and enclosed it into the metal pipe casing.
