Our recent project – Daikin floor standing split system installed at Centennial Park.
Last week our company installed a Daikin floor standing aircon for a guest house in the Centennial Park area.
Due to the roof shape and lack of the wall space to fit the wall mounted ac unit we suggested to the customer to go with floor standing aircon.
It has the same functions as the classic wall mounted system: heating and cooling. The main difference between those two types is airflow direction: wall mounted blow air from top to the bottom but the floor standing gives an airflow in reverse direction (from the bottom to the top) and sometimes the air distribution is better that way.
Indoor unit is installed in the corner of the room near the curtain and its in a pretty discrete position so it is not really an eye sore for the walk in person.
Outdoor unit installed next to the garage entry under the house and placed on wall brackets to keep some clearance between the bottom part of the unit and surface (it prevents the metal from rust and corrosion).
